Muhammad
Kurshid Alam a thirteen years old migrant from Bihar sells posters in
front of the Jama Masjid (Mosque) in Old Delhi. His collection of posters
contains a lot of verities. Despite the religious connection he is totally
unaware with the places in these pictures. But he makes these places familiar
with his day-to-day engagement such as selection, stapling, cutting, threading,
rolling, hanging and selling it on the streets. His minute details of
labour try to frame each picture “perfect”.
